Anyway!

It's been even longer since I last did an in-depth photo story. I didn't plan this, nor is it about my characters their stories.. but nevertheless I'm really proud of my achievement. Not just in the set created, but also when it comes to the editing I did after. This made me feel like I truly have developed myself over time. ^^

What I love to do, is add contrast/opposites/contradiction, interpretation and references to a work. To give it multiple layers of meaning. To be honest, I've felt like my work was lacking a whole lot of this as of late. But I've not been putting in the effort I used to do. So you can imagine how excited I am to break this flow at long last. ^^ I've spend many hours working on this in the end.

I have done a Wonderland themed story before, which contained elements of the well-known story to depict my own character his background story. (Can be seen here: lavandula-bjd.deviantart.com/a… ) This time, I wanted to add elements of the original story inside my shooting. Though I had to get a little creative here and there, I'm glad to say I succeeded in adding the following elements successfully:

- Alice 
- Mad Hatter (The teacup hats they wear)
- Tea Party
- The Rabbit with his clock (Also found on the print of their dresses)
- The chessboard 
- The Caterpillar and the mushrooms
- The (talking) Flowers
- Queen of Hearts
- The (soldier) cards
- Drink me-bottles
- Eat me-cookies
- Tweedledee and Tweedledum (Alice en Alice, depicting a twin)
- Cheshire Cat (Represented by the Maneki Neko hiding underneath DarkAlice's chair)
